The seven plays/Play 02
Have the conversation

Buyers judge us on this play. Every coaching tool fails it.

Take one advisor and one moment. Best-practice coaching produces an ask that works — and that this particular advisor will never say out loud, because he does not talk that way. The difference is not skill, and it is not a better script. It is whether the system knows what this advisor will actually say.

The question“What do I say?”
Who runs itAdvisor · BDR
The short answer

Before each meeting, the advisor gets a brief that fits three things at once: the client's situation, the advisor's own voice, and the firm's method. The referral ask arrives as a draft with its reasoning beside it, never a script, placed at a sensible minute of the meeting.

01

Three axes at once

The output has to fit the client's situation, the advisor's voice, and the firm's method. It must sound like this advisor, at this firm, with this client. A raw model cannot do that — it needs a proprietary record of relationship context, outcomes and firm language.

02

The advisor model

It starts at onboarding with a personality assessment that is a conversation, not a form — about twenty minutes, on a phone. It asks one practical question: which standard sales advice will this advisor never take, so the coach never hands them advice they have already rejected. Where the firm already records calls, five to seven of them answer most of the assessment before a question is asked, and the advisor confirms the result. From there, every recorded conversation sharpens the model: their register, their pace, the framings they choose and the moves they avoid.

03

The firm method sits beside it

A firm that leads with empathy gets asks that lead with empathy, in every seat. The firm's method is configuration, not a suggestion.

04

What actually arrives

A brief before each meeting holding four things: the one thing to land, the people in the room, the client's own words on what matters, and a plan that puts the ask at a sensible minute. Not at the start. Not waiting for the door.

A draft. Never a script.

Advisors do not read lines to clients, and they are right not to. Each talk track arrives as a draft with its reasoning beside it, so the advisor learns the reason and then makes the words their own. A talk track that reads as a script has already failed.

These are components of the growth layer, included with every seat. They are not products we sell separately, and never a reason to replace a capture tool that already works for you.

Common questions

Have the conversation, answered.

Why not just give advisors a proven referral script?

Because a best-practice ask that this particular advisor would never say out loud does not get said. The difference is not skill or a better script: it is whether the system knows what this advisor will actually say, and drafts in that voice.

How does WealthAmp learn an advisor's voice?

It starts with a twenty-minute conversational assessment at onboarding, or with five to seven recorded calls where the firm already records. From there, every conversation sharpens the model: register, pace, the framings the advisor chooses and the moves they avoid.

What arrives before a meeting?

Four things: the one thing to land, the people in the room, the client's own words on what matters, and a plan that puts the ask at a sensible minute. Not at the start, and not waiting for the door.
